So Jed's company has a full company shutdown and makes everyone take a full week paid time off. I know sooo hard..but we managed. He worked 2 weeks straight barley even sleeping, in those 2 weeks he didn't even come home, just slept at the office. My poor husband, such a great hard worker! We are so lucky to have the best Daddy ever!!
So on Friday he came home at 3:00pm after not even coming home that night, and slept until 7:00pm. We then went and started our VACA to the Pleasant Grove Swimming pool that my treated us too. There we "TRIED" to surf board and fell automatically on our tushies!! We PURPOSELY did not take any pictures of that. BUT we have some great pics of OTHER people hehe.
After that on Saturday I got to get a facial from my cute friend Rachel!! I haven't seen her since we went to Germany, (Yes I will post all about that later!) But it was so relaxing and my skin was soo soft! LOVE IT!! She also waxed my eyebrows and made them perfect!!!
We then took Katelyn to my Grandma's to Edwards birthday party and where she would spend the day with her Abulita! While the rest of us would go water rafting!! Now I have never been River Rafting and oh my goodness was that so much fun!!We went up to Morgon Utah, and went down that creek, I want to do that again. To show my adventoures side I got IN the water with Jed. It was FREEZING but after we numbed up it was good. We got into a splashing boat with the boat and it was so fun. Our whole family joined us, from both sides. We had the Crandells and the Ibarras, so it was sooo great!!
We then went to Park City to Pizza and Noodles and my dad treated us to dinner!! He said we could pick anything off the menu, Jocelyn asked...well Daba..can I have a Rootbeer Float? and he said....anything off the menu. Her little face...grining from ear to ear! We have the BEST BBQ pizza and Hawaiian ...the pasta ..oh my. Was so good!!
We then went home to start packing for our road trip. .....I'll do another post for that trip. Just because this is begining to be a long one! But number ONE thing I am going to have to do is SHOW my husband how to take pictures that are FLATTERING. He takes pictures of me while I'm bending down or my mouth WIDE open while I'm talking....or my hair is all messed up and he doesn't tell me. ahhh....he will be the death of me I tell you!!
The summary is .. We went to Portland, Slept at a hotel, Kate got sick, resturant- fish and fries...., antique shopping, Kate got a sand dollar, kids got rocks and beef jerky for free, Kids got coins for free, going to the beach the first time, going to cannon beach the second time. Reading books, forgetting sleeping bags, firewood, food, they had a costco, goodwill, audio books, car loaded....packed to the rim of crap. 15 hour drive, KOA camp amazing, flashlight, matches, oregon was amazing! trees, fresh air,
fourth of july with family.
AND...gotta go!! One day I will be able to blog more, but right now I'm doing things that make it so I CAN blog! =)

Katelyn's Blessing!! *Updated*
It has been such a long time since I have written, time has flown by!! Well I'm gonna post LOTS of pictures and maybe update with whats going on. Starting with Katelyn's Blessing!
Katelyn just turned 5 months on the 14th!! My sweet baby girl is so big! She is now laughing, not just smiles, but full on, from deep down in her tummy laughs! I LOVE to hear them. She loves ME, she sees me and smiles, and only wants ME. I'm sure later that will get annoying, but as of right now, I'm LOVING it. I am loving this little girl!! She has totally stole my heart away! In October we finally blessed her, she was 4 months and her Great Grandma made the dress. This is us trying on her blessing dress a couple of days before the actual blessing.
We then had a professional photographer come and take pictures of the blessing too:
This is OUR family! Not all of us, but most! Thank you for being there to celebrate our important day for our tiny baby. I know the other family members wanted to come and I totally understand that its sometimes not possible! But thank you for your sweet messages and phone calls.
Emily helped me out so much this day cooking and preparing for me while I was at the church or tending to other family members! I love this girl so much!! She takes me flaws and all! =)
My Mom! What would I do without my mom!! I dont' know. She is such a huge part of my life and I love her so much. We live 10 minutes apart and sometimes thats close, but most of the time we love it. My kids adore her and know her since we see her on such a daily bases. We are so lucky to have family so close around us!
I'm so grateful for everyone that came to Katelyn's blessing. We loved having you with us and in this special time of our sweet baby.

January 2008- First Blog Post
Blogging is the new rave around here. I have been having so much fun stalking others that they convinced me to start my own blog, so I can have my own stalkers. Also what a fun way to journal, share pictures, thoughts, and activities going on in your life.
This is ME: My name is Catherine Glazner- I am a wife, a mother, and LOVE to laugh!
I have been married for 6 years to my wonderful husband Jed. We have 2 beautiful kids, We have Jocelyn that is going to be a BIG 5 year old in two weeks and we have our baby boy that just turned 16 months yesterday.
Our crazy kiddos: Jocelyn and Bridger- Love those tiny faces.
We live in Utah, while Jed works as a Software Engineer, I am currently going to UVSC trying to finish my associates degree and graduate in April.
Here are some more pictures of our family- cause thats the great thing about blogs! They come with pictures!
This is Bridger's Year old Birthday Party at chuck E. Cheese. They kept calling him BRET even after we correct them! Finally we just gave up and let them call him Bret!
This is when Bridger was Three weeks old and Jocelyn was 4. She's so tiny and Bridger is my sweet Newborn.
Until next time
