Easter Bunny? redo KEEP

-Us having fun at Thanksgiving point last Summer-

So I was at playgroup with my friends when the subject of Easter came up. They were talking about the Easter Bunny when I told them that in my family we never did the Easter Bunny thing.

They gasped in horror and looked at me like I was insane. I told them we went around and found the eggs, but the Easter Bunny wasn't really in the picture. They asked if I got a basket of goodies..?? ..NO!! I've been robbed my whole childhood! (The pain..the terror)

...I must get on the Easter Train. So now...I'm am going to adopt the holiday of the Easter Bunny. So heres the question, do I get presents now too? What about back dating my last Easters?? I mean...its only fair? now..how to get Jed on board with all of this...

Love ya guys!? See...what would I do without you guys? I wouldn't know about MAC, or Hollister or even all the goodies the Easter Bunny brings!!

I grew up with the Easter Bunny and totally love the tradition...even though the bunny seems to have really nothing to do with Easter or eggs, but hey, it was fun. Max loves the Easter Bunny. He doesn't get a ton of stuff, but some of the essentials he'll need for spring/summer. We have a lot of fun with it! Love ya!

Well, the key to the Easter Bunny is to remember that he is not Santa. Don't do big gifts. You don't want to turn it into a "what am I going to get" type of holiday. Keep it about the resurrection. Well and Chocolate

Last year we totally forgot about the easter bunny, and so did our KIDS! I love the thought of keeping religious holidays Christ-centered, but that doesn't mean you can't still make the eggs and go to hunts and be really creative. The big things at our house are easter egg dyeing and buying new baskets every year, plus new fancy church clothes!

At our house the Easter bunny brings candy, some kind of CD we can listen to on Sunday, and a good book or coloring book for church that day. Last year I think we did swim suits too because they were on sale and the kids needed them, but I think it's better to keep it simple. We do the ward easter egg hunt and my sister does one too so I've never done that by ourselves. Have fun with the Easter bunny! Just be careful whatever tradition you start because your kids will remind you if you forget!!! :)
