My Occupation: SAHM *Updated*

(Whoops...can't see Jed's Eyes) A Company Party at "Jump on It"

So as you know, I'm taking 14 credits this semester to finish with my associates in April. (YAY) One of the assignments was to tell the professor your occupation. Well since I am a stay at home mom, I put this as my occupation:

My Occupation:

I am Director of Operations in the Glazner Company. I advise and supervise children and adults in a private home setting in dealing with problems such as nutrition, cleanliness, and household utilities.

As the Director, I plan, purchase and prepare gourmet meals utilizing commodities from surplus food programs. I check the health ingredient as well as calorie and sugar intake for each individual member. I also make sure the meals are in the individual liking, and age appropriate.

As Director I Assists the head of household in training and disciplining children, assigns and schedules housekeeping duties to children according to their capabilities, and encourages to take interest in children's schoolwork and assist them in establishing good study habits.

I also explain fundamental hygiene principles and train other family members to provide required care. For those that can't provide such hygiene because of restricted age I am authorized to assist in those circumstances.

I maintain the book keeping within the company. I manage to pay our bills in prompt manner and make sure there is still enough funds for entertainment expenses. I manage all of the necessities in the company by making an inventory of what is needed by each individual within the company.

Along with my other responsibilities, I over see the HR Department. I communicate with the medical and dental insurance companies for the best rates and pre- qualification for procedures. I make sure every individual in the company is current in all of there yearly appointments and make sure that everything processes smoothly.

In the Glazner company, we believe that it is important for every individual in the company to get exercise and be apart of the community. I along with my other multi-tasking responsibilities make sure that every individual is kept up in their extra curricular activities. I make sure the company arrives in a prompt manner and brings what is responsible for that activity.

I also maintain the work environment by keeping the work space clean. The building is maintained in a spotless atmosphere. Where there is no dishes, laundry, garbage, toys, or any harmful object that individuals could hurt themselves. It remains tidy, and refreshing with yet a cozy feel for our client el.

Those are a few of my outlined qualifications, and a summary of my Occupation. If you'd like a full description, will provide at the time of interviewing.

Thank you,

Catherine Glazner
