Jocelyn's 6th Birthday Party! KEEP

My sweet Jocelyn just turned 6!!

So for her birthday we had a swimming pool party!! Why oh WHY did I let Jocelyn convince me that a Swimming Pool Party for a bunch of 6 year old's would be a great idea?!?! My first thought was, "Oh! That will be so easy!!"

I was stressing out, I didn't get the help I needed, my brother couldn't pick up the pizza's, Jed was running late, ....I was seriously so stressed out.....we put all the kids in Life Jackets, and then started doing games, Jed was my life saver, if it wasn't for him helping out with the group of kids I don't know what I would of done!! But at the end, everyone said it was such a fun party and they all had a LOT of fun!! Which is what I wanted in the first place. I am sad I didn't get any pictures of Jocelyn or her party inside the water!!Darn it!!

my sweet Bridger had a hard time because he wanted to blow out the candles, Jocelyn being the great sport that she is....let him blow out some candles.

But she got a lot of really cute sweet presents!! I was so grateful to everyone that came to help celebrate Jocelyn's 6th birthday party!! My sweet girl!! Happy Birthday!!

I can't believe she is so big!! She is such a sweetheart, and we love her so much. She has done so much in the last year!! She started Kindergarten which she loves so much!! She had her second parent teacher conference, and her teacher couldn't stop saying all these wonderful things about her! She is reading at a level 4, her math is at a 4 as well, she gets along great with others, she loves to play with play dough, and she is learning that when she doesn't get her worksheet done, she doesn't get recesses, which is the hardest thing for her right now at school! This year she started going to her friends houses, and having other children come for play dates, she went to her FIRST birthday party by herself!! (In our neighborhood, but STILL!!) ...She learned how to ride her bike all by herself without training wheels!! YAY!! She has started to collect all of "The Littlest Pet Shops" and LOVES to play with them. She is learning about chores and money, and how they come together. Bridger and her have an amazing relationship together, they love sleeping in her bed together, and I can hear them at night "Bridger!? Do you want to go sleep all by yourself in your bed in the dark? Or would you rather spend a pleasant evening with ME? UH?? What do you want?? " oh my gosh...I don't know where she picks it up from..lol..=D!! I am amazed at how much she picks up from me and how much she really does listen. I am at AWE at her sweet spirit and heart. She LOVES everyone and tries to include everyone to play with her. She never leaves anyone out.

When Bridger and her fight, I always tell her, " who's your best friend Jocelyn?" and her response...." Bridger"......She tells him all the time, " Bridger you have to be nice to me because we are BEST FRIENDS and best friends don't hit!" LOL. Seriously how did I get SOO lucky to have her as my daughter!?!?

So one day she asked me why "I" got to be her Mom and not someone else, like who determines who's gonna be who's mom....and I told her that in Heaven, EVERYBODY wanted my sweet Jocelyn, people were shouting, "I want Jocelyn", " NO, I want Jocelyn", ....and Daddy and I wanted her so badly, and Heavenly Father said....The Glazners get Jocelyn because they are going to be the BEST Daddy and Mommy for her, and Jocelyn was soo happy because secretly she wanted to go with the Glazners too!!"

I know that's a silly story, but in my heart I believe it, I totally believe we fought for that little girl to be in our family, she has one of the GREATEST little spirits inside of her, that I am just so lucky to be called her Mom.

I still can't believe she is 6, she will always be my BABY, my tiny newborn.....I love her so much!!
