My Favorite People!! KEEP

So these are my favorite people to hang out with. They make me laugh so hard, and I have a blast with them.

My Hubbie and ME: Well we meet at work, we did technical support for Microsoft Word at Covergy's. We did the Word account, and the Windows 98 , Millennium, XP. We were both dating other people when we meet and became good friends. We would give each other tips on dating.

Well we both stopped dating the person we were seeing, and I started liking Jed a LOT. But he thought I was to young, I was 19 at the time. So I was doing all of my "moves" and he did not take the bait. So I was getting a little frustrated, to say the least. So I stopped my efforts and started dating other boys. He got jealous that I was dating other guys!? We were watching a movie, and he just started holding my hand...and that was the beginning of 6 years and 2 children.

My Jocelyn: She was my little girl!! I wanted a girl soo badly, and of course Jed wanted a boy. We at first we so convinced that it was a boy, that when they told me he was a SHE...I was soo happy. I KNEW this little girl was going to be MY mini ME. She was going to come out all dark, with TONS of dark curly hair, and dark eyes.

Instead I got this beautiful Bald, blue eyed Baby!! With no eyebrows, or eyelashes- she was not what we were expecting. The more she grew, the blonder she got, and the bluer her eyes are. The end of last year they started turning a greenish/brownish color now.

I had to have her first because she was such a hard New Born. She had TONS of colic and cried for the first 4 months of her life NON stop from 10:00 PM- 2:30AM. EVERY NIGHT. Jed was so sweet, he would take turns with me with her, and we would be giving her baths every night at 1 in the morning. But it paid off cause she is the BEST little girl I could of ever wished for. She helps me so much, and makes me laugh. She LOVES to go shopping!! She truly is MY daughter, she is my little me in so many ways!! I love her so much, she is the sweetest spirit I could of ever asked for. Love you babe!

BRIDGER: My BOY!! Actually Jed's Boy...LOL. He is a mini version of he's Daddy all the way. Well both of my kids are, but I think Bridger is identical. I LOVED being pregnant with Bridger, I wasn't sick that much. But he is the one I actually felt contractions with, they were so painful. The whole delivery with him was seriously funny, cause nothing else could of gone more wrong. The anesthesiologist missed three times giving me the stupid epidural..talk about unbelievable pain, the nurse blew my vein on my left arm so my arm and hand swelled triple its size, the lights went out in the hospital twice...AT LEAST the epidural machine was battery operated. I was in labor for 18 hours, and the finally when I was ready to push...the Dr. got stuck in traffice from a BYU game...so the baby's head was in the canal for over 40 mints, giving Bridger a Sephla Hematomia (I don't know how to spell that, but because he's head was in the canal for so long it builds up all this blood and fluid forming a huge softball bump on the right side of he's head. It goes away eventually, but it just looks awful.) We had to have him wear LOTS of hats when he was a newborn, cause he's little head looked so bad. I think Jocelyn actually helped him with that, she was playing with him, when she bumbed he's head kind of hard AND it was on he's little softball bump...a week later...the bump FINALLY went down..he had it for a few months. So he'll have to thank Jocelyn for that later.

He is my active boy, he keeps me running around and just so active, my mom says he is my chocolate. (I guess my brother and I were active...sheesh..I dunno...).. I was nervous to have a little boy, what was I gonna do with a boy!? I am such a girl, I KNEW what do to with Jocelyn, I don't know what to do with Boys. But he has made it SOO wonderful, I could have a million boys if they turned out like my sweet Bridger. He is so tough, and can totally dish it out, but he can not take it. He is so sensitive, and has the biggest heart!! He understands with others are sad and gives them hugs, and he's smile is soo contagious!! He's big smile makes me laugh, and makes my DAY!! I love him so much!! He got MY curly hair..and my brown eyes!! YAY.

Well thats my family. I love seeing my kids and seeing those little parts of ME, sometimes Jocelyn is talking and my husband turns around and says...see that?! That is YOU. LOL. These are my most favorite, adored, important people in the world!! I love them so much!! They bring me so much joy.

LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Easter Bunny? redo KEEP

-Us having fun at Thanksgiving point last Summer-

So I was at playgroup with my friends when the subject of Easter came up. They were talking about the Easter Bunny when I told them that in my family we never did the Easter Bunny thing.

They gasped in horror and looked at me like I was insane. I told them we went around and found the eggs, but the Easter Bunny wasn't really in the picture. They asked if I got a basket of goodies..?? ..NO!! I've been robbed my whole childhood! (The pain..the terror)

...I must get on the Easter Train. So now...I'm am going to adopt the holiday of the Easter Bunny. So heres the question, do I get presents now too? What about back dating my last Easters?? I mean...its only fair? now..how to get Jed on board with all of this...

Love ya guys!? See...what would I do without you guys? I wouldn't know about MAC, or Hollister or even all the goodies the Easter Bunny brings!!

My Jocelyn *Updated*

Happy Birthday My Sweet
Jocelyn!!

Jocelyn turned 5 years old! I can't believe I had this beautiful girl for so that long. She will forever be my tiny newborn. Ever since she was a newborn she has been so attached to me. Now that she is 5 she is getting so independent. How am I supposed to handle that?!

One of my fondest memories when she was a Newborn is when we were still in the hospital. The nurse would take her so I could sleep, and come back a half an hour later saying she probably needs to eat because she won't stop crying. My sweet Jocelyn didn't want to eat, she just wanted to be near me.  Once I held her, she would just snuggle up to me and go right to sleep my perfect little baby.

We co-slept with this little one, not because we wanted to, but because she demanded it. I had this beautiful bassinet ready for her, plus her crib, do you think she wanted anything to do with that? No. She loved snuggling super super close to me, that I had to sleep perfect still because I was afraid I would smoother her.

She is really into drawing, she LOVES to draw and she comes up with so many wonderful things. She spends half her day drawing special things for me and her friends. She has always loved to color, that has been one of her favorite things to do since she could write. She can stay at the table for hours and just color. One of the many things I love about her, her amazing creativity and artistic quality.

Jocelyn is also so awesome with Bridger, she is the best Big sister I could ever ask for. I'm so glad I have a girl first, she has helped me so much with Bridger. Bridger right now is in a "hitting" phase, and just smacks her really good sometimes, but she just tells him..."No no no..Bridger..thats naughty. " ugh!!! I couldn't ask for such a sweet girl...I love her so much. I thought having them 4 years apart would make it so that they couldn't play, but they play soo sweetly. She is the "monster" and he has to run away..and they have a blast doing that.

Jocelyn has had a little anxiety about turning 5. I told her that when she turned 5, that she would get to go to Kindergarten. Well she said she did not want to turn 5 because she loved her preschool and she didn't want to leave. Well today she told me, "mom, being 5 is not so bad. I like it, I guess.". LOL- so cute!!

So we have Days in our family, not every day, but some days we have a "Jocelyn Day" or a "Bridger Day". That person gets to choose everything, the TV shows, music on the radio, what fun activity we do that day. So Bridger and I have been super sick with a cold. With chills, fever, runny nose, ugh...so its been a little hectic..but Jocelyn declared that it was "mommy and Bridger Day" because we were sick. She got a blanket, and some coco for us...she has been the sweetest little mommy...I love that about her.

So her new thing is sleeping in my closet! I know...my poor baby, we have the cutest room for her, with beautiful furniture that I had to "almost" kill to get, at a great sale. Its a perfect Princess room. But she would prefer the stack of pillows and blankets in my closet. The little secret is that I kind of like it too. She looks so tiny in that mass of pillows, my sweet baby.

One day she won't want to sleep in my closet or be next to me, or do anything with me at all. But right now, she does...so why not? I got in there with her the other day, and it was really nice, like a cave...I can see why she likes it.

Well better get some good o'l beauty sleep and get better from this cold, Bridger and I can't go on like this.
