What a Bite!! KEEP

Jocelyn woke up this morning with a huge mosquito bite on her cheek!! Her poor little cheek is so swollen! I feel so bad for her!! Jed came home from work and said, "Whatcha got in your mouth a jaw breaker?" She said..." No Dad, I ate a mosquito and he didn't like it so he bite me !! " LOL. Ok...so for all of you that eat insects. Don't eat the mosquito's.

So a week in a nutshell KEEP

(Alright, I am trying out Picasa for my blog photos cause, uploading them one at a time is seriously taking a LOT of time! So any suggestions would be great! )

So our week in a nutshell, my parents were really great and invited me to go see Mamma Mia! It was such a cute show!! I am waking up singing Abba songs! LOL. We are trying to take a picture in front of the movie sign but the sun was so bright that it just didn't happen! LOL

Then we went and ate at the most delicious mexican resturant called Jalisco Resturant in American fork. I think that is my favorite place to eat now!

Well the next day my mom and I went to go see "Little Women" ( I didn't bring my camera!! Darn it!!) at the Hale Center Theater. I cried, and laughed and got inspired! LOL. I loved the play and haning out with my mom!! We had a great time!!


Then this is our backyard!! Unfortunately I don't have a before picture. But just imagine this back yard covered with weeds! Yes very very ugly and now it looks so cute!! Because of my sweet husband that is taking such great care of it! We put weed barrier down where we left garden space and then we will put wood chips.

Then for the 24th of July my sister in-law Karie came over. Jocelyn and Bridger had so much fun with their cousins playing with the baby pool. We had a great bar-Q w/ Jeds famous Chicken and Karrie's Funeral Chessy potatoes (that were to die for) we had a feast. We had so much fun hanging out and talking while the kids played outside. Then we had a great display of fireworks!! Provided by the Hancocks (our neighbors) and Jed.

Then yesterday I went school school shopping with my great friend Angie! We were "BFF" in 10th grade and then lost contact until the begining of this year. Its been so great to get together with her when she comes up to visit!! Again I didn't bring the camera!! argh!!!

So now we are headed to Denver!! I will definatly be posting soon with our little trip!! We are so excited, but better get going and do some laundry so we have clothes!

Going to the Crater W/ the Lafranca's! KEEP

Jed and Steve started talking about diving, well one thing lead to another and before you know it we were going to Homestead! The men decided to do a dive in the Crater for an hour, while Melanie and I with the kids decided to roam the grounds. We had a great time walking and looking "INSIDE" the crater to see if we could see our "Dads".

After the Crater we went to the Famous GRANNY'S for their great Onion Rings and Milk Shakes! The men were starving after they came out of the crater!!
Jocelyn, Taylor,Tipper and Natalie inside the crater waiting for the Dad's to come up! They were so excited to be in there. Next time we'll see if we can all swim inside the crater, the kids were dying to just jump in! I think if Melanie and I weren't there they would of just jumped right in with their clothes on! LOL.

Homestead was BEAUTIFUL, so many beautiful homes!! I could definitely get a house up there and have it as a vacation home( ...you know since we have so much money we don't know what to do with it....of course we'll get a vacation home in Homestead.....POP!! Oh....my bubble just burst!! I'm awake now. )

It was such a great time, we had so much fun!! I'm sure we'll be doing it again soon!!

My mother in law came and stole all the grand daughters to go see "Charlie and the chocolate Factory" at the Hale Center Theater. They were all so cute, and SO excited to go with Grandma Glazner!!

When they were coming back, we spontaneously decided to go out to Golden Corral!! It was so much fun to eat and talk with my sister and mother inlaw. We had a great time talking and watching the children make a mess of themselves.

I am very lucky to have married into such a great family! I couldn't of asked for a better family to marry into.

Thank you Grandma Glazner for being such a great Grandma to these kids!!

This is one of my GREATEST friends in the world!! She's smart, beautiful, charming and is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet and she knows everything. I go to tell her some news, she already knows it, its pretty scary!! She is the strongest person in the world and I just love her to death!! I don't know what I would do on Friday Mornings without her......or not talking to her every couple days....ok...EVERY DAY...FINE!! 3 times a day!!....I can't help it!! She's my life line!!

She is about to have another beautiful Baby Boy!! in 50 Days!! Its been a hard emotional week and I just wanted to tell her that I love her and I'm thinking about her!!

I can't wait to see Sam!! And REMEMBER whatever you need, want, are craving, just wanna a root beer float but don't want to go get it....CALL ME!!

Avatar Week BABE!! update and redo

(Up in our bed watching Avatar as a family! This was such a funny picture because I had to do a self timer, and no one even noticed that I was doing it because they were so into the show, until the flash came on! Even Jed was surprised!! LOL. )

Avatar Morning!!

Jed decided to take the day off today which was a great surprise!!! A year ago Jocelyn got into Avatar the last air bender. Jocelyn begged her daddy to watch it with her, and soon both of them became addicted. ME..I was like, there is better things to do then watch a silly cartoon. It took me two episodes and I was hooked!!

This week its the final week of Avatar and we are so excited for the season finale!! Its our Family Show!! Even Bridger loves it!!

P.S. For those of you that DON'T know what "Avatar" is....I had to do a Trailer of a movie for my Digital Media final. This is one of them:







(This was my other final, I must say I'm pretty proud of it. I was pretty happy. I was supposed to make an ad/commercial for the new model of car. "La Saleen" This is what I did :)

Now they aren't the best things out there, but for my first trailer and commercial ad, and my first semester using Vegas. I'm happy with it! =)
